it has been awhile since i updated....hmmm....well not much going on...now i am just working and planning a wedding...Jesse and I set a date for May 24th, 2008 at a place called the Lange Farm near Tampa....it is going to be an outside ceremony with a reception on the same site in the plantation style hall....i already found my wedding dress and am well on my way to picking the caterer and photographer...it will be here sooner then we know it and i am so excited...we are trying to pick a honeymoon place and Hawaii is sounding more and more like the place...yay!

Jesse is in Africa this summer so its hard...i miss him...we are used to talking every night and now we are lucky if we talk once a week...he emails when he gets a chance but that isnt that often...he comes home July 23rd and i cant wait to meet him in the airport...the countdown has begun...

Other then that i am trying to decide if i should move this fall or wait til after we are married....we are going to be in Kentucky for 5 years and i already interviewed and got a job at a Children's Hospital up there...i am now praying and asking for advice on whether i should move or not....oooo goodness....

WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! YAY!!!

Jesse proposed to me Sunday, May 20th, on a river boat cruise in Italy...it was perfect...and i was completely surprised....The top picture is us at the Colloseum waiting to get in, the middle is my ring...which i love...and the bottom is us right after the proposal...I am a lucky girl...

Here are some pictures from the Jr/Sr Banquet I went to with Jesse this weekend in Kentucky...what a wonderful weekend it was...only 12 more days til we are reunited again in Italy....i cant wait!

Time for another update...

- work is still going well...a week from tomorrow i am on my own with no preceptor...scary!!!

- Mom and I got our tickets to Italy...now its just getting our passports...pray pray pray...cause we have to go through a private passport company to get them on time which is a lil stressful getting all the paperwork together...goodness! May 15th wont come soon enough...

- I found my dress for Jesse's banquet in May...its really pretty and i love it...i am already thinking of other times i could wear it....i would describe it or put a picture up, but he would see and that would ruin the surprise of it all...i will say is it a pretty coral color...i thought it was a lil teeny boppy but once it was on it was wonderful! Whats funny is we bought it with 2 minutes left before the store closed and i didnt try it on til i was home...love that kind of shopping...

- still searching for the car...still saving for it too...however, after my next paycheck i will be debt free in the personal credit card world...school debt will be forever...but no more ridiculous Visa or American Eagle bills...yay! I will have a credit card cut up party!

- I was gonna try and throw my mom a surprise party tomorrow and had the invites out and the food coming when she decided to surprise me with a trip to see my second aunt with my granny and her...so therefore...a lot of embarrassing phone calls and a long drive...sad....

- Got a lil taste of what this summer will be like without Jesse around and i dont like it...not one bit...but i gotta support him cause thats what love is all about...plus i know God has a plan for him in Africa...who could stand in the way of that...my plan is to work a whole lot to keep my mind off of it all....

- My brother started walking this week...he hasnt walked since Jan 19th...he is amazing at it though...you would have never guessed he had a broken leg...pray for continued healing for him...

I think thats about it...just working, tanning, working out, and hanging out...leave some love.... : )
